History
King Saud University was established in 1957 as Riyadh University, but its name was changed to King Saud University in 1982 in honor of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the second monarch and the fifth son of Saudi Arabia's founder, King Abdulaziz Al Saud. It is the oldest and largest university in Saudi Arabia.
