About the college


The College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University is considered one of the generous pillars of this country, which has spared no effort, represented by its students, graduates, and professors, in contributing to the development and prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over nearly three decades, the college has been and continues to be the primary source of IT specialists in all its branches, including computer engineering, computer science, and information systems. The college takes pride in being the first to take the lead in developing information technology and systems in the Kingdom. Additionally, the college is proud to host the first department for women in the field of information technology. It continues to keep pace with and lead the way, as evidenced by its establishment of a specialized department in software engineering after careful consideration of the needs of the job market.
